Roller derby returned to Columbus on Saturday as the visiting Steel City Roller Derby (Pittsburgh, PA) clashed with the Ohio Roller Derby on the grounds of the Ohio State Expo Center.
The first bout featured the OHRD All-Stars tangling with Steel Hurtin, in a pretty evenly matched bout. Ohio took advantage of their power jams pulling away, 281-143
The second bout of the night featured Gang Green of Ohio and the Steal Beamers. Ohio jumped out early racking up points, but in the second half, the Steel Beamers squad made up some ground but fell to Gang Green, 281-143.
